Crawford Fund Series: Kayla Lochner
Kayla is passionate about food systems and agrarian livelihoods, with a particular focus on the dynamics of how food is produced and consumed in different context. Drawing on an anthropological background, she is interested in people and community experiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Archaeology/Anthropology) and a Masters of Development Studies (with Excellence) where she completed research into Fairtrade coffee co-operatives in Indonesia. She currently works at the Institute for Global Development at the University of NSW. She is currently working on research to understand what sustainable and just food systems could look like in the future.
